Kenneth Branagh Learned of Oscars Nod in a Storm

Kenneth Branagh discovered he was an Oscars record breakerwhile bracing himself for a storm.

The great Brit became the first person to be nominated in five different categories when he landed a Best Supporting Actor nod for his work in My Week With Marilyn last week (24Jan12) - and he admits the good news could not have come at a better time.

He says, "I was on a location scout and I was on a cliffside on an island in the English Channel, the wind was blowing and the rain was going sideways and somebody texted to say, 'This is your fifth nomination in fivedifferent categories,' and the wind seemed to stop".
