BACON'S SEX APPEAL QUESTIONEDKEVIN BACON landed his breakthrough role in classic movie FOOTLOOSE after being considered a desirable bed companion.DAWN STEELE, the former head of COLUMBIA PICTURES, was reluctant to cast the then-25-year-old Bacon in the lead role in the 1984 film and so carried out a poll whether the actor was "f**kable" - which turned out in his favour. Bacon, 46, explains, "Dawn Steele had a photo of me that she waved around asking, 'Is this guy f**kable?'"More people thought I was 'f**kable' than 'unf**kable', which is nice, but she still didn't want me so the director and producer paid for a screen test."I had to do a dance class with a bunch of wardrobe changes.
