Kim Cattrall has admitted that she would like to work on a third Sex and the City movie.
The actress returns to the role of Samantha Jones this week in the second movie to hit the big screen, which also sees Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis return.
And while she admits that she knows of no plans to extend the franchise Cattrall hopes that there will be another big screen adventure.
Speaking to MTV the actress said: "I don't know if there will be a third. I hope there will be. I think there's more stories to be told. That's totally [Michael's] call.
"I think once we start repeating ourselves, it's time to say goodbye," she remarked. "Maybe that's in five years, maybe that's in ten.
"Who knows? I hope we can do it for as long as the audience is there and the characters are interesting and growing and changing."
Sex and the City 2 is the second movie of the year for Cattrall who enjoyed box office success with The Ghost earlier in the year.
And she also has a couple of projects in the pipeline with Meet Monica Velour and Sweet Baby Jesus.
Sex and the City 2 is released 28th May.
