Knowing Tops US Box Office

Big budget disaster movie Knowing has topped the U.S box office knocking Race to Witch Mountian off the top spot after just one week.

The film, which stars Nicholas Cage, took $24.8 million in it's opening weekend and was comfortably number one.

Comedy I Love You Man was another new entry at number two while Clive Owen reuniting with Julia Roberts in Duplicity resulted in a three place spot with a gross of $14.4 million.

Race to Witch Mountain fell three places to number four after a week at the top spot grossing a further $13 million.

Comic book adaptation Watchmen rounded off the top five.

Last House on the Left fell three places from last week's number three to six while Slumdog Millionaire remained inside the top ten at number eight.
