Kristen Bell's Cartoon Dream

Kristen Bell dreamed of being a Disney princess.

The actress loved voicing a character in animated adventure 'Astro Boy' because she had grown up wanting to be in a cartoon.

She said: "I think like any other girl who grew up in the '80s and early '90s: I always dreamed about being a Disney princess. That was my fantasy. I think that, for my generation, the kids that are my age now, we memorized all those songs. In my off hours I still do them in the shower.

So it was really fun to be a part of an animated story which is based on a hugely popular Japanese TV series

Although Kristen identified with her animated alter ego, she didn't feel any connection to Cynthia, the woman she plays in new comedy 'Couples Retreat'.

She told Parade.com: "I can relate to her a lot. She's kind of tough and sassy and opinionated, but she has a very soft interior. I didn't feel the same way about Cynthia in 'Couples Retreat', who's a real type-A.

"Although it's funny because the more often I get asked about her, the more I realise there's a tiny Cynthia that lives inside of me who's very specific about packing or about cooking. Sometimes I think, 'Oh, is she really in there?' But, the truth is, I don't know how super-organized people do it. I constantly feel like my world is about to crumble. I feel like I'm holding it together with string."
