Kristen Stewart Didn't Turn Down Lois Lane Role

Kristen Stewart’s camp has denied that the actress turned down the role of Lois Lane.

The Twilight star had been linked to the part for the new Superman movie but it appears that the actress has never been approached for the role.

A representative for the actress told People: "There are a number of fabricated stories circulating.

"The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film."

Earlier this week it was announced that Henry Cavill had been cast as Superman in Zack Snyder’s superhero movie - which will be produced by Christopher Nolan.

Stewart will be retuning to the role of Bella Swan later this year in The Twilight Saga; Breaking Dawn - Part 1, the final story in the series.

She has also completed work on On The Road, which sees her team up with Garrett Hedlund and Kristen Dunst.
