Kristen Stewart reveals that she didn't mind doing the topless scenes for her new movie On The Road because of the comfortable and easy going set that director Walter Salles created.

The actress is back on the big screen this autumn with an adaptation of the Jack Kerousc novel.

And while it may be seen as quite a risky role for the Twilight actress she was very calm about what was needed from her for the part.

Speaking to MTV News the actress said: "It didn't bother me. You can do no wrong with [Salles]. He puts so much inside of you.

"In the four-week rehearsal process, it was okay to ask any question, to bring up any story, to really overanalyze everything and intellectualise everything."

"Once we got on set, it was so about just breathing and letting it happen. He put so much trust in us.

"So it was like, 'OK, so I have to take my clothes off?' It's so not a big [deal]."

On The Road sees Stewart team up with Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley and Kristen Dunst as she works with director Salles for the very first time.

It is going to be a busy few weeks for Stewart as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is also set to be released as the franchise is brought to a close.

On The Road is released 12th October
