Lindsay Lohan: 'I Enjoy Work More Than Going Out'

Lindsay Lohan has defended herself against her party-girl reputation - insisting she works very hard at her career.

The Mean Girls star is frequently snapped out and about on the club circuit, and has previously battled drink and drugs.

But the actress is adamant she is just like any other girl living in Los Angeles: "I do like to go out but there aren't many girls my age who live in L.A. who don't. But what people don't realise is that I work very hard during the day. I am a very hard worker, there isn't much time during the day when I'm not thinking about work. I enjoy going out but I enjoy working more."

Lohan recently scored a role in a new film - The Other Side - her first big part since 2005's Herbie Fully Loaded.
