Mark Wahlberg and James Franco have joined the cast of 'Date Night'.
The pair are the latest to sign on for the movie, which follows a married couple played by Steve Carrell and Tina Fey in their attempt to plan a date without their children, only for things to go disastrously wrong.
Discussing the casting of the movie - which also includes 'Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester as the couple's babysitter and rapper Common as a villain - director Shawn Levy said: "People just kept saying yes. I think people just really wanted to work with Tina and Steve."

Mark is set to play a successful securities expert who flirts with Tina character, while the 'Pineapple Express' star plays a dim petty criminal.
'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' star Taraki P. Henson will also appear as a police officer, and Tina teams up with her former 'Saturday Night Live' co-star Kristen Wiig, who plays her best friend.
Josh Klausner, who wrote the script for 'Shrek The Third' has penned the screenplay.
