Mark Wahlberg wants to make an 'Entourage' movie.

The actor insists his hit US drama - which he stars in and also acts as executive producer - could easily make the transition to the big screen "after a couple more seasons", citing 'Sex and the City' as the perfect way to adapt a TV show for a film.

Asked if he intended to campaign for a movie, he said: "Quite possibly, yes. We still have a couple more seasons to do, but yeah. We'd like to follow in the 'Sex and the City' footsteps and do a movie.

"People have always complained that the episodes are too short. And that the seasons aren't long enough, and they want more."

However, the show boss claims he has been forbidden to reveal what the storyline would be about.

He added: "I can't tell you which story lines we'd leave unresolved. I'm sworn to secrecy. There are so many different directions to go."
