Megan Fox is to star in 'The Crossing'.
The 'Transformers' actress will appear as one half of a married couple who is forced to smuggle drugs in the upcoming thriller.
Megan's character and her husband - who has not yet been cast - are carjacked as they return from holiday to Mexico and, with her spouse kidnapped, the only was she can secure his freedom is to take heroin over the border.
Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi wrote the script for the movie for Screen Gems and a start date of July has been scheduled - though the project does not currently have a director.
Megan has several other projects coming up, including 'Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen', 'Jonah Hex' and 'Jennifer's Body'.
