Melissa George Got Stranded On Mountain

Melissa George got stuck on a mountain whilst filming A Lonely Place To Die.

The actress takes on the central role in the Julian Gilbey movie but found herself stranded when bad weather interrupted filming.

Speaking to Digital Spy the actress said: "There was one moment where I was laughing because I was on the side of a mountain and hailstones came.

"They were so large that they couldn't get me off the mountain so I just said, 'No, it's fine, just give me a piece of plastic. I'll put it over my head.' I just hugged the rock and waited an hour for it to pass."

George gas mixed and matched her movie roles with TV over the last couple of years working on the likes of Lie To me and The Slap as well as movie Swinging with the Finkels.

She has already completed work on Between Us, which also stars Julia Styles.

A Lonely Place To Die is out now.
