Michael Fassbender had admitted that he enjoyed his fight scenes with Gina Carano.
The pair team up for Steven Soderbergh's latest movie Haywire and Fassbender had nothing but praise for his co-star.
Speaking to the AFI Fest the actor said: "It was a lot of fun, and we shot it for two days, and I think after the second day I puked," he confessed at the AFI Fest.
"But I think that was a bug - I'm sure it had nothing to do with getting the s*** kicked out of you by Gina Carano. But it was a lot of fun, and hats off to Gina."
Carano and Fassbender are part of an all star cast for Haywire that includes Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas and Antonio Banderas.
Fassbender has mixed and matched his roles in 2011 moving from big budget blockbuster X-Men: First Class to period classic Jane Eyre.
And the start of 2012 is set to be a busy one as Haywire is one of three movies set for release - Shame & A Dangerous Method being the pipeline.
