American Hindu groups are protesting over Mike Myers' new movie, 'The Love Guru'.Despite studio bosses insisting the film is not about any particular religion, Hindu groups are calling for it to be given an adult rating and for a message warning viewers that it does not represent Hinduism.More than 5,000 people have signed an online petition protesting against the film, which also stars Justin Timberlake.Bhavna Shinde of the Sanatan Society said it would give people a warped view of the religion. She said it features many "signature Hindu concepts", adding: "We all know that when you show a person with a sari and a mark on their forehead, that will be associated with Hinduism." Two Hindu groups are complaining that a promised screening of the film ahead of its release failed to materialise.Paramount Pictures say they will arrange a pre-release screening for Hindus in the UK ahead of its cinematic release in August. The film centres on Guru Pitka, played by Mike, who is raised and taught by elder gurus in India. He moves to America and coaches a Canadian hockey player on how to overcome his marital problems.
