The artist who created boxer Mike Tyson's face tattoo is suing the producers of the Hangover - Part II for copying his design.

In the sequel, Ed Helms wakes up from a boozy night to find he has had Tyson's Maori tattoo inked onto his face - and Victor Whitmill isn't amused.

He is suing Warner Bros. claiming the studio bosses are misappropriating his art for their new movie.

Whitmill left his mark on Tyson's face back in 2003, and he has copyrighted the work.

He is calling for a federal judge to block the tattoo from being shown in marketing campaigns and in the film.

The federal lawsuit was filed in Missouri on Friday (20May11).
