Animation movie Monster vs Aliens has returned to the top of the UK box office with a £2 million gross this weekend.
The film toppled Fast and Furious from the top spot after just one week at number one for the fourth movie in the Furious franchise, which sees Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reprise their original roles.
Zac Efron's comedy 17 Again held onto the number three spot while it was a new entry at number four for I Love You, Man.
The film follows Peter Klaven, a successful real estate agent who, upon getting engaged to the woman of his dreams, but he discovers, to his dismay and chagrin, that he has no male friend close enough to serve as his Best Man.
Peter immediately sets out to rectify the situation, embarking on a series of bizarre and awkward "man-dates," before meeting Sydney Fife, a charming, opinionated man with whom he instantly bonds.
It was also another new entry at number five with Crank 2: High Voltage which sees Jason Statham reprise the role of hitman Chev Chelios.
Political comedy In The Loop was the only other new entry inside the top ten as it opened at number eight and Knowing was this week's biggest faller dropping from five to nine.
