Morgan Morgan Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Morgan Freeman was the toast of Germany's Golden Camera awards on Saturday (04Feb12) as he was honoured for his career achievements.

The Invictus star was handed the top prize of the night at the prestigious awards ceremony in Berlin, and he thanked the crowd in German as he accepted his accolade, declaring, "Danke schon".

Freeman later told reporters it was "a great honour" to accept the prize.

Denzel Washington also showed off his German speaking skills as he picked up the Best International Actor award, while Scarlett Johansson took home the Best International Actress award.

Dionne Warwick was also honoured for her career achievements at the gala and Dutch jazz sensation Caro Emerald was handed the Best InternationalMusic Act prize.
