Morgan Freeman Set For Red Role

Morgan Freeman is to star opposite Bruce Willis in his next movie.

The screen veteran and Hollywood action man will team up for spy thriller 'Red', which is based on the graphic novel by Warren Ellis.

In the movie Willis is to play retired CIA operative Paul Moses, who is living a quiet life in relative obscurity after being sent around the globe on numerous 'wet' work assignments - a term used to refer to assassinations, meaning hands 'wet' with blood.

When the new CIA Director learns of Moses' murderous past he decides to have him assassinated so no one can ever discover the truth about his missions.

It is not yet known which character Freeman is set to play, however, rumours are rife he is to portray an old ally of Moses.
