Emma Thompson has revealed that the third Nanny McPhee movie will be sent in modern day.
The actress reprised the role of Nanny McPhee earlier this year in Nanny McPhee and the big bang and the Oscar winning actress, who picked up Best Adapted Screenplay for Sense and Sensibility, is already writing a third script.
Speaking to MoviesOnline she said: "I'm writing the third one at the moment which will be modern so that's very interesting because they'll be dealing with communications and these machines and all of that. So it will be very interesting."
And she has admitted that she has already come up with the opening line to the new movie I've got the beginning. I know that it's going to be somebody saying "This is the story of me and my family." That's all you need."
And Thompson appears to have done nothing but write of late as she has also penned the script to a remake of My Fair Lady, a movie that is yet to be cast.
And she has completed her work on that screenplay "I've delivered it. It's done. I'm just the writer so I said, 'Here you go! Bye.' "
Thompson is currently filming The Song of Lunch, a project for TV, and will be lending her voice to Brave.
