Cave And Ellis Pen West Memphis Three Tracks

Rocker Nick Cave and his The Bad Seeds bandmate Warren Ellis have teamed up to write the score for a new movie about the notorious 'West Memphis Three' case, according to online reports.

The Australian stars announced last month (Dec11) they were winding up their side project Grinderman following a gig in their native country, but it's emerged they've already found themselves a new project.

The pair has penned tracks to accompany footage on new documentary Westof Memphis, which tells the story of three men - Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Miss kelley - who were released from prison last year (11) after serving 16 years for the murder of three eight-year-old boys in Arkansas.

They were freed after officials agreed there was significant doubt about their guilt.
