Nicole Kidman Likes Challenging Roles

Nicole Kidman has revealed that she enjoys taking on challenging characters.

The actress is back on the big screen next year with her new movie Rabbit Hole, which sees her portraying a grieving mother.

And the actress admits that it’s these difficult characters that she likes getting her teeth into.

Speaking to Back Stage the actress said: "I'm just very careful about what I choose now because time is so precious. I

“'m just not willing to waste the time, whereas maybe in my 20s I was willing to try anything.

"But life is not about the past. My husband said a wonderful thing to me: he said, 'The rear-view mirror is small; the windshield of a car is big'. I really try to approach my life that way."

Rabbit Hole, which sees her star alongside Aaron Eckhart, is the first movie for Kidman since she starred in Nine late last year.

But she has already completed work on Just Go With It and Trespass.

Rabbit Hole is released 4th February.
