Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian has remained at the top of the Australian box office.
The movie grossed a further $3.3 million as it held off more strong competition from Angels and Demons.
So far the sequel has grossed over $215 million at the global box office and is one of the most successful movies of the summer so far.
Angels and Demons hung onto the number two spot while Russell Crowe's current movie State of Play, an adaptation of the BBC drama, was a new entry at number three.
Both Star Trek and X-Men Origins: Wolverine fell one place a piece to round off the top five at four and five respectfully.
Paul Rudd comedy I Love You, Man was a new entry at number seven as was My Year Without Sex at nine while Defiance was the biggest faller dropping three places from seven to ten.
