Night At The Museum Claims Aussie #1

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian enjoyed more success at the box office as it opened in Australia at #1.

With a gross of $4.7 million Ben Stiller and co comfortably saw off competition from last week's number one Angels & Demons.

The second Dan Brown novel to be adapted for the big screen had to settle for the number two spot. but still grossed a very healthy $3.4 million.

Star Trek, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past all dropped one place a piece to round off the rest of the top five.

The top four movie all broke through the $1 barrier.

What Just Happened?, a comedy starring Robert De Niro, was the only other new entry in the top ten at number ten while Samson and Delilah was the only movie to move up from nine to eight.
