Oliver Stone Plans Chavez Documentary

Film maker Oliver Stone's next movie will be a documentary about Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.Fresh from the release of his biopic of U.S. president George W. Bush, Stone has already started work on his Chavez movie - which he kicked off after visiting the leader back in February (08).And he reveals it was inspired by the influx of left-wing heads of state in Latin America in recent years.The Oscar winner tells Variety, "It's about Chavez and the South American revolution".The movie is due for release in 2009.According to Variety, Stone is planning a second secret presidential documentary, which he has denied is about Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.0Comments | Be the first to comment!
