Oliver Stone

Oliver Stone has an unusual method for casting extras - the director reportedly hit a New York nightspot with Josh Brolin to pick out beauties for the forthcoming Wall Street sequel.

Stone is currently shooting Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps in the Big Apple with Brolin and a string of stars including Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf.

And the filmmaker decided to use a night out with Brolin at hotspot RdV on Friday (16Oct09) to eye waitresses for roles in the money-making movie, according to the New York Daily News.

A source tells the publication, "He asked them if they wanted to be extras. The ladies were more than thrilled to oblige, and Oliver insisted that they would be hearing from him."

Wall Street was released back in 1987 and starred Michael Douglas and Charlie Sheen. Douglas won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance and reprises his role as Gordon Gekko in the new movie.

Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps is released 23rd April.
