Orlando Bloom is reportedly close to a deal to appear in The Hobbit.
The British actor shot to fame when he took on the role of Legolas in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and he looks set to reprise the role.
Peter Jackson is back in the director’s chair for the movie, which is set to be split into two movies, and Bloom could be making a return - and it is believed to be more than just a cameo.
The news comes just a day after it was revealed that Cate Blanchett would be returning as Galadriel.
The Hobbit heavily features Legolas’ father Thranduil and this role has been linked with former Time Lord David Tennant.
Also talks are still on-going with Ian McKellan, Gandalf, and Andy Serkis, Gollum, as well as Hugo Weaving who played Elrond.
