Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston braved plunging temperatures last night in London for the premiere of their new movie Marley and Me.

Aniston dazzled on the red carpet in a long strapless gown but eventually gave in to the weather accepting a jacket.

The film follows Marley, a yellow Labrador that Grogan, a journalist, adopts with his wife in order to give them an idea of how they might be as parents.

However, the dog is hyperactive and causes chaos wreaking havoc both at home and at the obedience school.

Matter get worse when they finally have some kids but the dog becomes an important part of their family unit.

The film is based on real life columnist John Grogan's best selling autobiographical book and the actors weren't warned that they were going to be upstaged by their canine co-stars.

Wilson said on the red carpet: "They did not tell us that - that one kind of snuck up on us but you could tell after meeting those cute puppies. She melted on that one scene."
