OWEN WILSON LANDS MITTY ROLEActor OWEN WILSON will recreate DANNY KAYE's most beloved role as dreamer WALTER MITTY in a long-awaited remake of the 1947 classic THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY.The project originally began as a vehicle for JIM CARREY with STEVEN SPIELBERG directing and has since passed through the hands of directors like RON HOWARD and CHUCK RUSSELL.The new film will be directed by MEAN GIRLS movie maker MARK WATERS.In the original movie, funnyman Kaye played a daydreamer caught up in a jewellery heist.
