Plans are underway for a 'Baywatch' movie.
The popular TV show - which followed a group of Los Angeles lifeguards - is to be turned into a tongue-in-cheek comedy by Paramount.
Jeremy Garelick, who will write and direct the film, said: "It felt like the template to do a movie that was similar to 'Stripes' and 'Police Academy,' the comedies I loved growing up.
Rather than trying to pitch the tone, I figured it would be easier to write the first act to convey who these characters were.

None of the original cast will star in the movie, although it is rumoured David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson will make cameo appearances.
