Paul Bettany forgot he was in 'Iron Man'.

The actor - who is set to return as the voice of Tony Stark's computer JARVIS in the upcoming sequel - claims recording dialogue for the film was so easy he could not remember doing it.

He said: "Somebody said to me about six months after the film was released, 'Are you the voice in 'Iron Man'? And I said no.

They went, 'Really?' And I went, 'Oh, no, I am! I am

"They went, 'Really?' And I went, 'Oh, no, I am! I am.' So it was sort of done for fun."

The star admitted he could only remember eating food and messing around while in the recording studio.

He added: "It was a very peculiar experience. I turned up at a recording studio in New York City and all I remember doing is laughing for about two hours and eating some croissants and then going home."

Meanwhile, Emily Blunt has signed up to 'Iron Man 2' to play superhero 'Black Widow'.
