DENCH, who plays spy chief M, assertion that he would be appearing in
the forthcoming remake of CASINO ROYALE.
Brosnan says, "I'm too old at 52. A few years ago I would have said I could imagine playing James Bond in a more ferocious way.
"Like a sort of Quentin Tarantino character - but now, at 52, I am definitely too old."British actor DANIEL CRAIG is favourite to follow in Brosnan's footsteps to become the sixth Bond.Elsewhere the stars son CHRISTOPHER has allegedly been arrested in suspicion of possessing the drug heroin.The 32-year-old was searched and arrested last Wednesday (15JUN05) in London after police spotted him leaving the house of a suspected drug supplier.
Christopher - who has worked as an assistant producer on several Bond movies - has battled with drink and drug addictions for years and nearly died in 2002 after overdosing on Gamma Hydroxybutyrate (GHB).
A police spokeswoman confirms, "A 32-year-old man was arrested in Brixton Road on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug, believed to be heroin."He was taken to a police station and bailed to return in August."
The news will bring fresh worries for 52-year-old actor Brosnan who adopted Christopher when he married his first wife CASSANDRA HARRIS.
