Pierce Brosnan For Thomas Crown Affair 2?

Pierce Brosnan has revealed that there a Thomas Crown Affair 2 could well be on the horizon.

Brosnan took on the role of the central character in 1999 alongside Rene Russo, which was a remake of the 1968 classic starring Steve McQueen.

And the actor admits that writers are currently working on a script for a sequel.

Speaking to ComingSoon.net the actor said: "We've got the fourth script in and this is the closest we've gotten in structure to making sense. It's very very hard.

"Now we have the character, it's not really fleshed out, so we have to work on him, Mr Crown, and her, Miss Moore, another affair, more art, but it has to be an unexpected surprise."

The actor is back on the big screen this week with Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief with The Ghost Writer, the latest movie from Roman Polanski, and Remember Me both awaiting release.

There are also a string of projects in the pipeline for the actor including Vanilla Gorilla, The Hunter and Spy vs Stu.
