Rachel Bilson lands BFF and Baby

Rachel Bilson has joined the cast of 'BFF and Baby' and is set to feature alongside Kate Bosworth and Krysten Ritter in the indie comedy.

Rachel Bilson has joined the cast of 'BBF and Baby'.

The 29-year-old actress - who shot to fame starring in teen television drama 'The O.C.' - will feature alongside Kate Bosworth and '27 Dresses' star Krysten Ritter in the indie comedy.

'BFF and Baby' - which was co-written by Ritter and director Kat Coiro - follows the story of two best friends who struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy in their relationship after Ritter's character falls pregnant and has a child.

Stardust Pictures' Justin Levine is set to finance and co-produce the film, alongside Ritter, Kat Coiro, David J. Phillips and Corbin Timbrook, with shooting set to begin in Los Angeles on October 19.

Rachel - who has also made appearances in 'The Last Kiss' and 'Jumper' following her departure from 'The O.C.' - recently admitted she misses playing Summer Roberts in the American teen drama, and working alongside co-stars Mischa Barton, Adam Brody and Benjamin McKenzie.

She said: "I do miss Summer terribly. The 'O.C.' was the most phenomenal time. I saw Mischa at Cannes, but I honestly miss everyone from the show."
