Jennifer Garner Plays Pranks on Gervais

Jennifer Garner played a series of pranks on Ricky Gervais on the set of The Invention Of Lying - after he laid down strict rules during filming.

The upcoming movie was co-directed by Gervais and Matthew Robinson, but The Office creator Gervais placed a series of conditions on the cast - including a ban on gum-chewing, mobile phones, and loud snorting.

All of a sudden, Jen started chewing gum and Ricky's going, 'What are you doing?' And then she snorted

Robinson says, "Ricky had a few specific rules on-set... In the middle of taping, Jen’s cell phone went off, and she pretended it had happened accidentally. Ricky got really annoyed. All of a sudden, Jen started chewing gum and Ricky’s going, ‘What are you doing?’ And then she snorted. He didn’t catch on until the entire crew started laughing."

Garner wasn’t the only person to play pranks on Gervais - the entire crew blasted him with toy guns as he walked out of his dressing room for the final take.
