Dead Man Running

Rio Ferdinand was absent from last night's Manchester Premiere of the film he executive produced, Dead Man Running.

With a Manchester United V Blackburn Rovers game only 48 hours away, Ferdinand is prioritising his first vocation football making sure he is 100% fit for the game on Saturday.

Whilst Ferdinand has branched into non-sport related ventures, making him a successful entrepreneur, it is his football career that will always take precedence.

Producer Nicholas ‘Pikki’ Fearon said: "Rio has been very supportive of this film release, being a Manchester resident, he understands how imperative the support of the Northern community is to the success of this film and in fact it was him who suggested the Northern premier.

"However, unfortunately his football career is his priority, and with a game less than 48 hours away, I understand his football has to come first. We are all very appreciative of his support so far"

Ferdinand, often described as one of the finest defenders in world football, still supported Dead Man Running, starring 50 Cent, with an appearance at the London Premiere on 22nd October.

Ferdinand’s brother, friends were in attendance at the Manchester Premiere last night..

Dead Man Running was executive produced by Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole and stars 50 Cent, Tamer Hussan and Danny Dyer.
