Altman's Final Project Grinds To A Halt.... The death of director Robert Altman has thrown production of new movie Hands On A Hard Body into disarray, because nobody else can match the Gosford Park film-maker's vision.Seven-time Oscar nominee Altman died on Monday aged 81, bringing to an end an illustrious career. And Picturehouse chief Ben Berney doubts whether any other film-maker will be able to do justice to Hands On A Hard Body - a character driven story about a truck contest in small town Texas. He says, "This was conceived as a Robert Altman film, and I'm not sure there can be any other way to do it".
