Robert Downey Jr has revealed that he, like other Marvel fans, always wondered whether an Avengers movie would ever be made.
Downey Jr is set to return to the big screen as part of Avengers Assemble, which sees him once again return to the role of Iron Man.
The Oscar nominated actor joined Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo on the red carpet earlier this week for the LA premiere of the latest Marvel movie.
And we are going to be seeing a whole lot more of Downey Jr as Tony Stark as he will be returning for a third Iron Man movie.
Jon Favreau will not be in the director's chair this time around instead the movie will reunite the actor with his Kiss Kiss Bang Bang filmmaker Shane Black.
Avengers Assemble is released 26th April.
