Robert Emms has described the story of Snow White as a timeless tale.

The actor is part of the all star cast of Mirror Mirror, director Tarsem Singh's take on the Snow White story.

The actor takes on the role of the servant Renbock and he believes that the story still has universal appeal.

Speaking to MSN at the Hollywood premiere of the movie the actor said: "I think the purity and innocence of the Snow White character is something that young people can relate to.

"The excitement of the story and the adventure side of it - young people and families love that - and it's a timeless story."

Mirror Mirror sees Lily Collins, Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer on the cast list.

2012 has already been a very successful year for the actor as he starred in the box office hit War Horse.

Emms has also completed work on Broken, which sees him team up with Cillian Murphy and Tom Roth.

Mirror Mirror is released 6th April.
