Robert Pattinson Meeting Sells For $80,000

A Twilight fan has paid a staggering $80,000 (£53,333) to meet Robert Pattinson on the set of the latest vampire movie.
 
The actor, who is currently filming the two-part final instalment The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, offered up a set visit to raise money for the GO Campaign, a charity which helps orphans and vulnerable children across the world.
 
The prize was auctioned off on the CharityBuzz.com website and attracted a record bid of $80,000 (£53,333).
 
The winning bidder will travel to Vancouver, Canada and enjoy a meet-and-greet session with the British star on set.
 
Other prizes up for grabs include a backstage visit with U2 and a meeting with Sir Paul McCartney, according to ETOnline.com.
