Ron Perlman has joined the cast of 'Season of the Witch'.The 'Hellboy' actor will star alongside Nicolas Cage in the action-packed film about a pair of medieval knights who must transport a girl accused of being the witch who started the black plague.The movie - which is unrelated to the third film in the 'Halloween' franchise of the same name or the 1973 George A. Romero movie which shares its title - will be helmed by Dominic Sena, who directed Cage in 'Gone In 60 Seconds'.Filming begins on location in Austria and Hungary in early November.The fate of the project seemed uncertain earlier this year when Cage announced he was ready to quit acting.He said: "I enjoy acting when it works.
