Marvel Greenlights Runaways Series....

Marvel Comics executives are set for another big-screen outing, after giving the go-ahead to turn the Runaways series into a movie.Series co-creator Brian K. Vaughan and artist Adrian Alphona have agreed to write the film - about a group of teens who run away after discovering they are the offspring of supervillains.The runaways then discover their own superpowers and proceed to challenge their parents in an attempt to correct the past.

According to EmpireOnline.com, Runaways is still in the early stages of development and, as a result, a shooting date is yet to be confirmed.
