Russell Brand's new movie will be "erratic and amusing".
The British comic star is currently shooting 'Get Him to the Greek' - a spin-off from 2008's 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' - and admits he is delighted to be playing pop star Aldous Snow again.
Referring to his battle with drug addiction, Russell said: "I play the part of him! I'll be back on drugs. Not the character - me, Russell Brand, the actor. When I'm on drugs, oh, I can come up with some good acting! No, not really, drugs are bad - won't be on drugs! But Aldous Snow will be on drugs, making him erratic and amusing!"
I like to look at pretty women, but I'd like that to be the beginning of a romance rather than the beginning of 10 hours of looking at them
The new film sees Snow travelling from London to Los Angeles ahead of a huge concert.
The musician has recently started taking drugs again, so his record company dispatch a new college graduate - played by Jonah Hill - to ensure he gets to the show on time.
Despite his reputation as a Lothario, Russell revealed he hates shooting scenes with pretty woman.
Referring to a part of the movie which sees Snow surrounded by women in a nightclub, Russell told mtv.com: "I don't really like it. Imagine being told you're not allowed to eat and then being forced to walk around a supermarket and then filmed while you're in that supermarket - silly and unnecessary to do that. I like to look at pretty women, but I'd like that to be the beginning of a romance rather than the beginning of 10 hours of looking at them."
