Samuel L. Jackson is to star in a remake of 'The Last Dragon'.The 'Pulp Fiction' actor will play Sho'Nuff, the Shogun of Harlem, a bad guy with a huge entourage in the reworking of the cult 1985 kung fu classic movie.The film follows a New York street fighter called Leroy Green, who sets out to become the Last Dragon, possessor of The Glow, a powerful force that would make him the greatest fighter in the world.Samuel said he can't wait to start work on the movie, telling the Hollywood Reporter: "I'm a huge fan of the original and look forward to bringing Sho'Nuff into the 21st century."The Columbia Pictures movie will be produced by original producer Berry Gordy's son Kerry, along with John Davis and Dallas Jackson.Wu-Tang Clan star RZA is also named as a co-producer and is rumoured to be compiling the soundtrack.No other casting decisions have yet been announced.
