Shank Is Huge Facbook Hit

British independent movie Shank is set to be this years surprise smash hit, with social network and online figures breaking records before  the film is even released.

Today the film's facebook fan page surpasses the 26,000 fans mark - just 9 weeks after it was launched.

This is officially the fastest increase and count for any new pre-release non-sequel British film.

Shank stars Skins star Kaya Scodelario, plus Bashy, Adam Deacon  (Kidulthood/Adulthood) and new talent Jan Uddin and Kedar Williams-Stirling.

The movie is a vision of a near-future London, where society has collapsed and gangs rule the streets.

Shank is released 26th March.
