Sigourney Weaver Goes Comic

Sigourney Weaver has joined the cast of 'Paul'.

The 'Alien' actress is to star in Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's new comedy about two sci-fi geeks - played by the creators - who discover an alien, voiced by Seth Rogen.

Her exact role in the film is being kept under wraps.

She has also signed up for 'You Again' alongside Kristen Bell and Adam Scott, which she will shoot after 'Paul'.

Sigourney plays the rich aunt of a bride-to-be, with Kristen leading the cast as the groom's sister who is horrified to learn he is marrying her old school nemesis.

Sigourney's next film release will be in James Cameron's 'Avatar', which is scheduled to hit cinemas in December.

She is also expected to appear in the forthcoming 'Ghostbusters 3', reprising her role as Dana Barrett.
