Mckellen to Play His Fictional Brother in New Mockumentary

Sir Ian Mckellen has signed on to play his fictional brother in a new TV drama.

The Oscar nominee will star as Murray McKellen in The Academy, about a run-down drama school in London.

The show will be shot in the fake documentary style that helped Ricky Gervais' The Office find huge success.

Producers hope the show will air in both the U.K. and U.S., reports Daily Variety.
