Terrence Howard has been axed from 'Iron Man 2'.The actor, who played industrialist Tony Stark's friend Jim Rhodes in the first comic book movie, is said to have been dropped from the forthcoming sequel after a row with Marvel Studios over pay.He will reportedly be replaced by 'Ocean's 11' star Don Cheadle.Howard admits he was stunned when told he would no longer be part of the project - which stars Robert Downey Jr. as Stark and his metal-suited alter-ego and sees the character Rhodes become Stark's sidekick War Machine. He said: "There was no explanation. The contract just up and vanished."Meanwhile, Samuel L. Jackson has revealed he will be starring in 'Iron Man 2'.The actor had a brief cameo as Nick Fury at the end of the first film and confirmed he will have a much more prominent role in the next instalment. He said: "'Iron Man' director Jon Favreau spoke to me at the Scream Awards, and told me that Nick Fury would have a much more prominent role in the second one."
