ROCK WELCOMES OSCAR TIME DELAYOSCAR host CHRIS ROCK has welcomed the introduction of a five-second time delay on ABC's television coverage of the awards ceremony later this month (27FEB05) - because he can't guarantee he won't use any swear words. The HEAD OF STATE star is well-known for his use of strong language during his appearances as a stand-up comic - but he's not as worried about any potential slip ups as the American broadcasting network. The 39-year-old tells American TV show 60 MINUTES, "I've been on TV and been funny not cursing. As far as content is concerned, I will talk about the movies. I'm not really worried about it. I'm sure ABC is more worried about it than me."(A time delay is) a safety net. You know, you're a trapeze artist... you welcome the net."0Comments | Be the first to comment!
