Ray Winstone's turn in cop movie the Sweeney was such a hit with studio executives, they have already ordered a follow-up nine months before the film hits cinemas.
The Sexy Beast star takes on the role of Detective Inspector Jack Reganin the big screen adaptation of the classic U.K. cop series, alongside rapperactor Plan B.
Winstone has now revealed film bosses were so impressed by the pair's on-screen antics, they have already put plans in motion for a sequel.
He tells Britain's The Sun, "They want another one and we haven't even finished this one yet. It's just being edited so we're trying to figure out a storyline. "We wrapped before Christmas and it was a great experience.
I love working with Plan B". The film is set to be released in September (12).
