Thomas Turgoose Ignored By Hollywood

Thomas Turgoose has had little international movie interest since 'This is England'.
The 18-year-old actor, who portrayed troubled child Shaun in the 2006 crime drama, admits Hollywood has not come rushing to sign him up despite the movie winning a BAFTA award.
He said: "I had an audition really, really early on in my career - literally just after I'd finished 'This Is England' - for Steven Spielberg and that was for an American TV series but I can't remember what it was called. It was something to do with a fairytale.
"I didn't get to meet Steven. I just got to meet the casting director."
However, the star claims he is happy to make British films and would like to continue working with 'This is England' director Shane Meadows.
He told DigitalSpy: "Ideally I'd like to stay in British films - and good films - working with Shane Meadows and Tom Harper."
Thomas is now starring in director Harper's latest film, 'The Scouting Book For Boys', which has a limited UK release from Friday (19.03.10).
